Introduction To SRU
A dependable positive displacement pump designed for the gentle handling of sensitive process fluids. Carefully engineered for reliable performance, trouble-free operation, and superior energy efficiency in demanding applications. An excellent choice for duties that necessitate contamination-proof pumps to meet elevated hygiene standards, ensuring low shear and low pulsation operation. The pump is meticulously crafted in accordance with the most stringent hygienic design standards, validated for effective cleaning-in-place procedures.
SRU Application
Smooth low shear pumping
Smooth low shear pumping action makes pump suitable for handling media of varying viscosities, whether low or high form cream, gels, emulsions and aerated mixture to delicate cells and organic solids in suspension.
Available 12 different pumpheads
Available 12 different pumpheads displacements based on six different gearbox modules to handle flow rates up to 106m3/h and differential pressures up to 20 bar.
Designed for gentle handling
Designed for gentle handling of sensitive process fluids across the dairy, food, beverage, brewing, chemical, pharma, home and personal care industries.

SRU Feature
The robust cast iron gearbox
The robust cast iron gearbox provides maximum shaft rigidity and easy oil seal replacement.
All media contacting steel
All media contacting steel components, like rotor case, front cover, rotor and rotor nuts are W.14404 (AISI 316L)
The gearbox design
The gearbox design is universal, which provides flexibility of mounting pumps with inlet and outlet plots in either vertical or horizontal plane by changing the foot and its position. It has tri-lobe rotors.
Available in three temperature
Available in three temperature ratings enabling the pump to be operated at maximum process temperatures of 70c, 130c and 200c for both fluid pump and CIP.Single, single flushed and mechanical shaft seals as well as packed gland, unflushed or flushed are available.
tri-lobe
It has tri-lobe rotors.
bi-lobe
Optional bi-lobe rotors for handling fluids containing large delicate solids available.
SRU How It Work
A gear train in the pump gearbox drives the rotors and provides accurate synchronization of the tri-lobe rotors. The movement of the counter-rotating rotors creates a partial vacuum that allows atmospheric pressure or other external pressures to force fluid into the pump chamber. As the rotors revolve, an expanding cavity forms, filling with fluid. As the blades disengage, each dwell forms a cavity. As the rotor blades engage, the cavity diminishes and fluid is displaced into the outlet port.
